What is it?

ShotOnDesktop is a small Windows application (you can call it screen-mate or gadget) that displays images (one at time) on user’s screen. Actually, the program is the lightweight predecessor of  IDelight 5.0 which is now developing hardly. ShotOnDesktop is built using “layered windows” technology that is used to be engine of  Windows Vista and Windows 7 user interface.

How ShotOnDesktop differs form tons of others?

1. It is flexible and convenient:
   • user can configure on-screen composition to be topmost or to act as ordinary window;
   • user can adjust opacity of the composition;
   • on-screen image smoothly vanishes when mouse pointer is near (distance is configurable also) it or over it, so the program does not interfere user’s work.
2. ShotOnDesktop displays photos turned in stylish frames, without any borders and outside controls.
3. The program is not just like Windows sidebar – user can drag image anywhere on screen holding CTRL key pressed.
